2 More Dream Dinner Reviews

Be sure to read my review of the preparation experience HERE.

I was gifted with 6 entrees for my family to try from Dream Dinners.  This post reviews the 3rd and 4th dinners we prepared.  For our opinions on the 1st and 2nd dinners, click here.  I should add that I loved the ease of Dream Dinners so much that I booked another prep session on 12/9/16 – so excited!!

Swiss Beef Sliders on Mini Pretzel Buns

YUMMM!  Just the name of this dinner sounds fun and tasty!  Dream Dinners description states, “Seasoned lean ground beef mini sliders topped with a creamy wild mushroom sauce and melted Swiss cheese. Great party food on our Mini Pretzel Buns!”  This is a spot-on description of this delicious meal.  Not a morsel was left in my family.  Now, I must admit that my kiddo did not eat the mushroom sauce, but the rest of us loved it.  The recipe stated it would make 6 sliders (2 sliders per serving).  We easily made 7 sliders ot of the generous beef portion.  And, we served this with the Dream Dinner Sweet Potato Fries, purchased as an additional side dish at check out.  Yum!!

Here is a photo of ours versus the company’s final product:

  • Price per serving: $6.45
  • Nutrition Facts per serving (beef/bun only): 610 calories, 30 g total fat, 10 g saturated fat, 32 g carbohydrate, 42 g protein, 780 mg sodium, 115 mg cholesterol, and 1 g fiber.

Golden Shrimp with Parmesan Risotto

I think this might be my favorite so far…. we made this on a Friday night & ate it while watching a movie on Netflix.  The most costly dinner we were given, but that is due to the shrimp.  Generous portions of shrimp & risotto were included.  The meal came together easily and quickly, just as described.  I served this with roasted fresh green beans, simply tossed with a little olive oil and garlic-herb Mrs. Dash mixture.  My family gobbled this up in no time!

Again, comparing the company’s beautiful picture to our reality –

  • Price per serving: $7.02
  • Nutrition Facts per serving (shrimp/risotto only): 500 calories, 20 g total fat, 10 g saturated fat, 53 g carbohydrate, 23 g protein, 1640 mg sodium, 185 mg cholesterol, and 1 g fiber.

Stay tuned for more reviews from Dream Dinners!
